What is a numerus fixus programme?
Modified on Mon, 28 Jul at 4:58 PM
A numerus fixus programme is a study programme for which the educational institution has set a certain capacity. This means that a limited number of places is available. If the number of students who apply exceeds the number of available places, a selection procedure will take place in order to determine which students are offered a place.
The application process therefore differs from that of regular study programmes. Important to note is the timeline for applying to a numerus fixus programme: applications open on October 1st, and need to be submitted via Studielink and the EUR Application Portal by 15 January at the latest. For Erasmus School of Economics, one study programme is a numerus fixus programme and that is International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics (IBEB). Please visit Application (IBEB) | Erasmus School of Economics | Erasmus University Rotterdam for more information about the application procedure for IBEB.
