Can I apply without having a Dutch VWO diploma?

In the Netherlands, students holding a VWO diploma can enter a bachelor programme at a research university. Therefore, international students are eligible for a bachelor programme with a secondary school diploma equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma.
If your high school diploma is not equivalent to a Dutch VWO diploma, you may have to participate in a mathematics exam. After the Selection Committee has reviewed your documents, you will be informed if you will be invited to take a mathematics entrance exam. On our website you can find a list of the most common foreign diploma that meet the minimum general admission requirements. If your diploma is not listed, we still invite you to apply for our programmes as the Selection Committee will review your diploma upon your application.
